Eternally Yours

The Animal Award

While I was away,  I updated the blog format.  In doing so, I realized that RosemaryMarie of Noble Doubt nominated me for the Animal Award…back in May.  I feel like such a jerk for not seeing this sooner!  Thank you so much to Rosemary for the nomination and I’m so sorry that it took me this long to acknowledge it!

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you, and link back to their page.
  2. Post the award picture on your blog.
  3. Write a short paragraph about yourself and what your blog means to you.
  4. If you could be any animal, what would it be?
  5. Pick and notify ten nominees.

Most of you know so much about me already.  I’m a wife and a stepmama.  I’m a graduate student.  I have a cat.  I’m a huge gamer and a sometimes writer.  I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.

Over the last three (almost four!!!) years, this blog and I have carried on a love/hate relationship.  It started as a way for me to get excited about The Sims again.  I was feeling like the game had played itself out, it was getting old.  Around the same time I had finished another legacy Noble Cause, and had just gotten the Sims 3 Supernatural.  I thought, “Why not start another story?”  So here we are.

At this point, I’m back in love with the story.  Of course, falling in love with it again meant pissing off almost all my readers (sorry!).  But I love a good challenge and guiding my characters through unwanted responsibilities, guilt, and the death of our beloved heroine is going to be my biggest test yet.  Are you ready, readers?  Let’s do this!

I’d be an owl.  Hands down.  Google “Owl Memes” and you’ll see why.  The expressions, the majesty, the sarcastic looks.  How could I not be an owl?

      1. I’m not really ready to leave her either. She’s so much like me. Which is the problem. Even writing as Dani, Penny’s still in my head. She’s suffocating my writing. I have to kill Penny or kill the story and I’d rather keep the story going.
