Chapter 2.9

I couldn’t believe that the girls were aging up today.  I had just gotten used to the fact that they were babies.  Ah well, I’m sure they will be great toddlers.

Olivia is such a mellow girl.

Penny is a spunky spitfire.  She is gonna drive me crazy I bet.  She’s too much like me!

I felt bad.  With only $400 in the bank and bills coming due we couldn’t really afford a lot of presents.  We got them what we could and I personalized them myself.  Then it was time for the party.

My family came over, minus Colleen because she was too small still.  Garrett’s mom came over as well.

I couldn’t believe we were about to meet our toddlers.  With a quite spin and some sparkles the girls aged up.  I was stunned.

Penny had my father’s stunning green eyes, my dark hair and ears, and her dad’s haunting skin color.  She was gorgeous.

My sweet, sweet Olivia didn’t loose any of her cuddliness as a toddler.  She had my mom’s hair and my blue eyes.  She, too, was more beautiful that I could have imagined.

Penny is obviously still a spitfire.  She seems to think her walker doubles as a bumper car for tormenting her sister.

She is also a genius and ridiculously independent.  She learned to walk at record speed and then took off around the house like she owned the place!  What a stinker!

Olivia is also super smart and independent, but she is happy just to hang around Mommy and Daddy.  She seriously follows me everywhere in that walker.  I swear I will never pee alone again.

With such gorgeous girls, I did what any mother would do: I filled the house with photos of them.

I really don’t know what to do with Penny!  Every photo I take she looks like she planning something!  Liv is content to just smile like the sweet little thing she is!

Good night, my love.

Don’t grow up too fast.

“Garrett, did you ever believe we could create something so beautiful and precious?”

“I had no part in that, babe.  They beauty and brains was all you.”
